The ICPC offers a number of awards, including the World Champion Team, the World Champion Coach, the World Champion Contestant, the Best Novice Team, the Best Rookie Team, the Best Contestant from Africa, the Best Contestant from Asia, the Best Contestant from Europe, the Best Contestant from Latin America, and the Best Contestant from North America. The top prizes are :

Yes. A 3 member team is mandatory. A representative of the sponsoring institution of higher education, typically a faculty member, must be designated and registered as the team coach.  They must certify the eligibility of contestants and be the official point-of-contact with the team before and during contest activities.  A team may only have one registered coach, and that coach cannot also be a contestant.

The coach must fully register teams in the ICPC Registration System within the time set by the regional rules which, for all qualifying Regional Contests, is no later than 7 days before the contest.  A team is not eligible to compete in the regional contest until the regional contest director has accepted the team in the web registration system.  Teams failing to comply with any of these requirements will be ruled ineligible to compete.  Only registered reserves may be substituted for contestants.  Such substitutions must be entered in the ICPC Registration System by the regional contest director before the contest begins.  A reserve can only be substituted for a contestant before the first qualifying contest. Each team consists of three contestants who are eligible to compete in the ICPC World Finals as described under Advancing to the ICPC World Finals in the Regional Rules.  The team's contestants must satisfy all eligibility requirements. The purpose of 2022 ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners from around the world to present and discuss the latest ideas, innovations, and experience in the field of computer programming.

There is no set number of teams that will qualify for ICPC regionals. The number of teams that qualify each year depends on the number of teams that register for the ICPC and the number of spots available in each regional.

Yes. The ICPC Asia Regional Dhaka round is held every year in Dhaka. In 2022, The ICPC World finals also took place in Dhaka.

The International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is generally considered to be a very prestigious contest. It is one of the most popular and competitive programming contests in the world, attracting top students and teams from all over the globe.

There are many benefits to participating in ICPC. Some of these benefits include:

2. Meeting and working with other talented programmers from around the world
3. Improving problem-solving skills
4. Learning new programming techniques
5. Gaining exposure to different programming languages
6. Earning a chance to compete at the ICPC World Finals

Each ACM-ICPC Regional Contest is open to teams of three students who are currently enrolled full-time at an educational institution.

• A student who meets the Basic Requirements and FIRST began post-secondary studies in 2018 or later is eligible to compete.
• A student who meets the Basic Requirements and was born in 1999 or later is eligible to compete. 
• The eligibility status is determined at the first qualifying contest.

A student who meets the Basic Requirements and was born in 1999 or later is eligible to compete. 

The problems would be as per the international standard.

Registering for the ICPC Dhaka Regional 2022 preliminary contest costs 390 tk. per team. After the preliminary contest, if you are selected, you will have to pay 7500 tk. for registration.

The application for the 2022 ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional will open in January 01, 2023.

If you perform well in the ICPC preliminary contest, there’s a higher chance of qualifying for the ICPC regionals.

Like every year, you have to form 3 member teams for the preliminary contest. There’s no cap on the number of teams participating in the preliminary contest. As there is a limited number of slots allocated to each university, if you do well in the preliminary contest, then you will have a higher chance of getting selected for the regional contest.

The number of problems varies from one regional contest to another. In regional contests, there are generally 11 no. of problems and in preliminary contests, there are 9 no. of problems.

1. You can register for 2 regional sites each year (at max for online rounds).
2. You can try for 5 years (and not 5 contests in total). This means technically you can go to Onsite Regionals 10 times in your lifetime.
3. You can go to the World Finals at most 2 times.

ICPC Dhaka Regional Preliminary round will be held on February 4, 2023, and the onsite round will be held on March 11, 2023.
